DUST OF DIAMONDS

BIJOUXDo you know any non profit making organisation founded in 1801 which was created to promote the development of the Industry in France to face Britain’s Industrial Revolution? It is the Hotel of Industry which promotes all forms of creation to serve the national interest.

The company, which has now over 210 years of existence, continues its activity to serve the French industry, innovation and design. This Hotel is located in one of the most historic place in the heart of the French capital, St-Germain-des-Prés, next to the most famous café “Les Deux Magots”.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet Myrtille. She knows the place like the back of her hand, and will soon organize  the best contemporary jewellery designer exhibition “made in France”  in this Hotel. This exhibition will be under the protection of Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre who used to live in St-Germain-des-Prés.

Rings, brooches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces… may be considered as the symbol of the feminity and often reveals your identity among other things, in our societies. For the sake of appearance, but beyond overall, the jewells are part of a cultural recognition. Show me what you wear and I will tell you who you are.

So, get ready to visit this new jewellry showroom in a unique and romantic location in the heart of St-Germain-des-Prés .
